I have been looking for the perfect matte lipstick to add my spin, so I am so happy to find the Laura Mercier Velor Extreme Matte Lipstick range.
This velvet extreme matte lipstick is a matte full coverage lipstick. All products have a cream color without any shimmer. Generally speaking, I hate matte lipsticks and matte lip products. I found that they make my lips look dry, shriveled, darkened, and everything looks old.
Laura Mercier Velor Extreme formula is super matte. The formula is opaque and long-lasting, but the smoothness is not high. Most colors have very good flawless coverage.
The tube is screwed up and down like an ordinary mechanical crayons, but by breaking off the colored base of the pen, you will find a hidden sharpener to keep the nib thin. Honestly, this makes the lipstick easy to apply.
The lasting power is impressive. They do have a dry texture/feel in the tube, so there will be a slight tugging when you apply it on your lips. If you have lip balm underneath, they will glide better. Once applied on the lips, they feel weightless and very comfortable.
In short, I still like it very much and wear it often in my daily life, so I recommend it to you!
